June Player of the Month!

Kostas Tsioulos

You will never find a more devoted, charismatic, caring, and benevolent Dungeons & Dragons player than Kostas Tsioulos. Though he was brand new to the game when he began playing JC’s game of The Ashen Throne in January, you’d never know it now- he not only has a great command of his character and the mechanics of the game, but he’s also shown an incredible dedication to it, having never missed a single session of that adventure, and even contributing miniatures and painting them for when we play at the table! His character is Thoras, a Dwarven Life Cleric and devout worshipper of the goddess Mystra.

It's more than just his loyalty and his talent that Kostas brings to the table. He has a truly selfless spirit, never seeking fame or glory for himself. He is the epitome of a generous soul and a true team player, always looking after his party members as if they were one of his own clan, and making sure they are buffed and healed at all times to face whatever challenges are present. Despite focusing on others, Kostas can still be a force to be reckoned with when in combat- his magic warhammer makes him seem like the god Thor, and his clever quips and thick Dwarvish-Russian accent leave enemies shaking in their boots. Time and time again, Kostas has defied all odds and brought his party back from the brink of defeat through his leadership and his unshakeable optimism.

IRL, Kostas is a healthcare worker who’s tirelessly been doing his part during the COVID crisis to keep everyone healthy and safe- just like his character in the game! He’s also a father of two, which means he finds time for raising lives and saving lives- both in the real world AND in a fantasy one- truly a remarkable feat. Any gaming table that Kostas graces with his great roleplaying skills and warm heart is lucky to have him- which is why he should be Rolldark’s top contender for player of the month.
