Having solved the strange murders within the Carnival and pursuing the perpetrator through the crypts of the dreaded Castle Ravenloft and into the Litwick Market, the Wayfinders find themselves with only more questions than answers. A legendary evil blade seems to be responsible for the recent murders, including possessing its owner Isolde and commanding the enigmatic Nightmare Man. But the mysteries deepen as the Carnival has just arrived in a new land called Dementlieu, an idyllic-seeming pastoral realm of rolling hills and elegant soirees, but secretly a realm of intrigue, decadent delusions, and more mystifying deaths. The heroes must find the thread that binds these events and places together, lest it all finally unravel and reality itself breaks apart… for good.
